About Plum Islet, Andrea says: Pastel drawing come easy to me. I love just playing with color within the landscape genre. In this case, I am seeing islands in my minds eye while composing a pleasing composition. My landscapes more often than not include water, land and sky and usually where all three come together. In Plum Islet I wanted to push the color purple, include my recurring circular clouds, and include expressive brush strokes along with my mark making.
