Sean Cramblett, Earth 2, kiln formed glass sculpture, 14 inches long by 5 inches high by 1.75 inches deep. Soft pink, lavender, purple, emerald and gold ribbons of color run through an arched shaped piece. The top arched edge is textured with smooth, flat sides and bottom. Its beauty is enhanced even more as light shines through it.
Sean Cramblett has developed his unique style through more than 20 years of practicing, learning, and experimenting in the world of glass. As a lifelong artist with years of lampworking experience, he has evolved his focus into kiln formed glass (also known as cast glass) while incorporating elements of lampwork into his pieces.
Sean infuses his artwork with a love of nature and a respect for the patterning of the natural world. He often calls on strong, earth based color tones as a compliment to the shapes and texturing that make his art unique.
